Features & Specs

Everything you need to know to get up and running.

The iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series is a cordless, battery-powered robotic pool cleaner built for residential in-ground and above-ground pools.
No hoses or permanent installation needed. It navigates automatically to scrub the pool floor, walls and waterline, efficiently removing debris and algae.
It comes with a large filter basket and Turbo cleaning mode for enhanced cleaning performance, and supports control via the iGarden Robotics App.

iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series comes with four customizable cleaning modes to match different pool maintenance needs:

  • Floor Only: Cleans just the pool floor
  • Full Coverage: Cleans floor, walls and waterline completely
  • Walls & Waterline First, then Floor: Prioritizes vertical surfaces before cleaning the floor
  • Walls & Waterline Only: Focuses on walls and waterline

It also supports AI Timer, which enables scheduled automatic cleaning at 24-hour, 48-hour or 72-hour intervals. Once set, the robot will start cleaning automatically on schedule for effortless pool upkeep.

Turbo mode is available to boost suction for heavier debris.

Full unit including outer packaging

  • Dimensions: approx. 23 × 18 × 13 in (580 × 450 × 330 mm)
  • Total Weight: 16 kg (36 lbs)

Your iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series package comes complete with:

  • 1 × Robotic pool cleaner
  • 1 × Charger
  • 1 × Retrieval hook
  • 1 × Filter assembly
  • 1 × User manual

Please note: A telescopic pool pole is not included and it is not mandatory for operation. If you already have a pool pole at home, a 1‑inch diameter pole is recommended for better use with the retrieval hook.

The K Series comes with a 4L filter basket. The dual-layer filter set includes a 180μm standard filter and a 50μm fine filter.
Use the 180μm filter alone for large debris. Stack the optional 50μm fine filter over the 180μm filter to capture fine particles such as algae.
The dual-layer configuration is recommended for floor-only cleaning mode only. Dual filters may reduce suction and wall-climbing performance.

Suction performance of robotic pool cleaners is closely related to pump flow.
The iGarden K Series has a pump flow of 15‑22 m³/h (3963‑5812 GPH). This powerful flow generates consistent suction to capture leaves, sand, dirt and algae from pool floors, walls and waterlines.
We do not rate suction in kPa. Pump flow is the standard reference used in this industry to represent debris-picking capability.

iGarden K Series relies on a hybrid smart navigation system combining IMU (gyroscope & accelerometer), infrared sensors and water sensors.
It continuously detects its orientation, pool walls, gentle slopes and underwater environment. The robot uses AI-powered S-path planning and adjusts its path in real time, systematically cleaning floor, walls and waterline to maximize pool coverage and minimize repeated cleaning.

Yes. The iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series features Turbo mode, which increases suction to tackle large leaves and heavier debris. Turbo consumes more power than standard floor mode, so runtime will be shorter when it is activated.

Yes, the iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series comes with AI Timer for automatic scheduled cleaning.
You may select an interval of 24 hours (daily), 48 hours or 72 hours. Once configured, the robot will start cleaning automatically at your set interval, keeping your pool clean without manual activation every time.
You can choose your preferred cleaning mode before enabling the AI Timer.

iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series features IPX8 waterproof rating and supports fully submerged underwater operation.
Please note that the charger is not waterproof. Keep it indoors and dry, never immerse it in water.

iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series offers two convenient control options:
Onboard waterproof touch panel: Tap directly on the robot to pick cleaning modes, turn on Turbo and start cleaning, no phone required.
iGarden Robotics App: Connect via Bluetooth and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to adjust settings, monitor status and configure AI Timer recurring cleaning schedules.
Note: App connection works only on land. Wireless signal cannot transmit underwater.

Performance & Pool

How it cleans and which pools it supports.

iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series cleans your pool floor, walls and waterline. It can handle gentle slopes and shallow sun shelves.
It cannot clean pool ladders, built-in benches or narrow steps. This is a common design limitation for most robotic pool cleaners. These spots will require occasional manual brushing.

The iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series is designed to clean the main floor, walls, and waterline effectively. Narrow or irregular areas such as stairs, corners, and curved seams may be missed because the robot's body cannot fit into them—this is normal and not a defect. For complete maintenance, we recommend manually brushing or vacuuming these spots on a regular basis alongside robotic cleaning.

The standard 180µm filter basket handles everyday debris: leaves, grass, flowers, insects, hair, and medium-sized sand. Heavier leaf loads may require multiple passes or Turbo mode. For fine particles like silt, dust, and algae, use the dual-layer 180+50µm filter configuration in Floor mode for best results.
Keep in mind the robot is designed for routine maintenance, not one-time cleanup of a heavily neglected pool.

Yes. K Series is designed for both residential in-ground and above-ground pools. Its adaptive navigation works across both pool types to clean floor, walls and waterline.

iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series is compatible with these rigid pool surfaces: concrete, vinyl liner, fiberglass, mosaic tile and stainless steel.
The specially engineered brushes deliver reliable cleaning while helping prevent scratches on properly cured, intact pool surfaces.
Note: Not recommended for loose pebbles, rough exposed aggregate or soft inflatable liners. Damaged, peeling or loose pool surfaces may be further worn during cleaning.

Yes. The iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series supports irregular and free-form pools, including curved, kidney-shaped and L-shaped pools.
The robot re-calibrates its angle every time it hits a pool wall. Complex features such as slopes, obstacles and curved walls may shift it away from the standard S-path, and some areas may require multiple passes. Extending the cleaning runtime helps improve coverage if spots remain after one cycle.
Note: It cannot climb narrow steps, ladders or tight recessed niches. For best results, please stay within the recommended maximum pool size and water depth.

K Series is recommended for residential pools up to 6 m × 12 m (19.7 ft × 39.4 ft). For irregular or complex-shaped pools, a single cleaning run may not fully cover all areas. Recharge and run multiple cycles for better coverage.

The ideal operating water depth for the iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series is 3.3–8.2 ft (1–2.5 m).
Its minimum usable water depth is approx. 16 in (40 cm). Areas that are too shallow or pool steps may interfere with the robot’s self-righting function and reduce cleaning coverage.
If your pool has extensive shallow zones, we recommend checking your actual pool structure before purchasing K Series.

Yes. It works for saltwater pools, provided water chemistry stays within specified limits: salt concentration below 5,000 ppm, chlorine ≤ 4 ppm, and pH between 7.0–7.8. Remove K Series before adding strong pool chemicals; place it back once water chemistry stabilizes.

The iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series is designed to work in pool water between 4°C and 35°C (39.2°F–95°F).
Extremely cold or hot water beyond this operating range may impact battery performance, navigation and wall-climbing function.
For stable operation, keep the pool water temperature within this recommended range.

The iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series can operate within the main basin of infinity-edge pools.
Its hybrid smart sensor navigation adapts to curved pool walls in the main pool. However, it cannot climb or clean the spillway weir wall of the infinity edge.
Please keep the working water depth within 3.3–8.2 ft (1–2.5 m). The special transition structure of infinity pools may alter its travel path, and one cycle may not clean the entire pool. Recharge the robot and run multiple cleaning passes for better coverage.
Note: It also cannot climb narrow steps or ladders. Please follow the recommended maximum pool size.

We do not recommend using K Series in natural or eco swimming ponds that include planted biological regeneration zones.
Heavy silt, submerged roots, aquatic plants and loose organic debris can easily clog the filter basket, jam the tracks, and disrupt the robot’s sensor navigation.
K Series is designed for standard residential pools. If your natural pool has no planted zones and is purely a rigid swimming basin, test carefully.

K Series’s wall and slope climbing performance depends on pool geometry, surface grip, water depth, filter basket condition and battery level. Slopes steeper than 15° may create difficulties. In floor-only mode, the robot will not climb areas over 30°. If your pool has large transition slopes between shallow and deep zones, check the slope and share pool photos before purchase.

iGarden K Series does not save a persistent pool map.
Every time the robot is placed into water, it will scan the pool environment from scratch. It uses IMU (gyroscope and accelerometer) to track its orientation and infrared sensors to detect pool walls and obstacles, then calculates the cleaning route on the fly.
A key benefit of this approach: it can automatically adjust to changes in your pool, such as new obstacles or modified layout. No manual re-mapping is required.

The iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series uses different movement paths for its multiple cleaning modes.
In floor-only mode, the robot navigates the pool floor with an S-shaped pattern, covering the area lengthwise and crosswise. When climbing pool walls, it moves along a U-shaped path.
Full-coverage mode completes floor, wall and waterline cleaning within a single cycle.
The wall-first mode dedicates roughly the first one-third of the runtime to walls and waterlines. For example, on a 60-minute scheduled cycle, it will spend around 20 minutes cleaning walls and waterlines, then 40 minutes on the pool floor. This design avoids filter basket overload, which would otherwise reduce wall-climbing performance.

For most residential pools, a standard cleaning cycle takes roughly 2 hours. Actual runtime depends on pool size, shape, debris load and selected cleaning mode. You can set fixed durations of 1 hour, 1.5 hours, 2 hours, or choose Max mode. Max mode runs continuously until battery power drops low and the robot stops automatically. If your pool is heavily soiled or has a complex layout, extend runtime or run an extra cycle to finish cleaning.

We recommend waiting until the cleaning cycle finishes before swimming. While K Series is safe for swimmers, its tracks, rotating brushes and strong pump suction are designed for cleaning. Swimming during operation increases the risk of contact. The robot will auto-park at the pool wall and go into sleep mode once the cycle completes.

Yes. The robot is built for underwater operation and works in light to moderate rain. However, the charger and power connections must stay dry indoors. Heavy rain may wash large amounts of debris into the pool and interfere with sensors. For best results, remove and store the robot safely and resume once weather improves.

It is possible. The robot has a low chassis and may occasionally get caught on raised drain covers and fail to self-escape. You can gently help free it if this happens. Suction from the main drain can also pull the robot off course. We recommend turning off the main drain while the robot runs. For a long-term fix, replace it with a flush, non-raised drain cover for smoother passage.

During swim season, the recommended schedule for standard residential pools is 2–3 cleaning cycles per week.
Pools with heavy foliage, high bather load, curved/irregular geometry may require more frequent runs. After storms or heavy debris accumulation, run extra cycles to clean up sediment and leaves.
Maintenance note: Empty and rinse the filter basket with fresh water after every single cleaning cycle. Monthly deep cleaning of the filter mesh is suggested to remove oils and fine residue.

Buying & Compare

Help choosing the right model for you.

The iGarden K Series and KN series both clean pool floors, walls and waterlines, but they differ in hardware, functions and warranty.
Filtration basket: K Series is equipped with a large 4L filter basket; KN uses a smaller 3.2L basket.
Control interface: K Series uses an on‑board touch panel. KN uses a rotary control dial with LED indicators.
Cleaning functions: K Series supports dedicated wall‑first mode, Turbo power mode and AI recurring scheduling. The KN series lacks the independent wall & waterline mode and AI auto recurring scheduling.
Suction performance: K Series has higher suction power, better for pools with heavy leaves and fine silt.
Warranty: K Series carries a 3‑year warranty, while KN comes with a 2‑year warranty.
Bottom line: If your budget is limited and you only require basic routine pool maintenance, the KN series is a great choice. Opt for the K Series when you prefer a bigger filter basket, smart recurring timers, Turbo suction, improved handling of heavy debris, and extended warranty protection.

K Series and K-AI share many core specs, including a 4L filter basket, 20–100W operating power, 10–12 m/min travel speed, 3-year warranty, and the same set of cleaning modes: floor-only, full coverage, and wall-first cleaning.
The key difference lies in navigation:
K Series relies on programmed S-shaped and U-shaped movement paths. It works great for regular-shaped pools and consistent daily maintenance.
K-AI is equipped with dual-camera AI vision. It can identify debris and adjust its route adaptively, making it better suited for freeform, irregular pools and scattered spot dirt.
Bottom line: Select K Series for simple, dependable routine cleaning in standard-shaped pools. Upgrade to K-AI if you have an irregular pool layout and want AI vision to target debris hotspots.

The K Series is documented for residential in-ground and above-ground pools up to approximately 20 x 39 ft (6 x 12 m) or about 28,000 gallons. It is a strong fit when you need floor, wall, and waterline cleaning, Turbo mode for heavier debris, and app-based scheduling. Before choosing K Series, confirm that your pool has at least 16 in (40 cm) of water, a compatible smooth surface, and no unusually steep slopes or narrow areas.

K Series is a cordless residential pool robot with strong 7-hour runtime, multi-clean modes and App AI Timer scheduling.

Compared to competitors:

  • No messy power cords, unlike wired robots; you avoid cable tangling, though battery capacity defines maximum coverage.
  • Equipped with 3D S-Path navigation, dual scrub brushes and a large 4L debris basket. Optional dual-layer filter handles fine silt and algae.
  • Backed by a 3-year warranty and official help center resources for setup & maintenance guides.
  • Like all cordless pool robots, underwater App control is unavailable; live App functions only work on land, which is an industry-wide limitation.

K Series is best suited for standard residential pools up to 20 × 39 ft (6 × 12 m). If you have special pool geometry or larger size, contact support for recommendations.

K Series is worth considering if you want to cut down manual pool cleaning work. It delivers powerful suction, a large 4L filter basket with optional dual-layer fine filtration, multiple cleaning modes including dedicated wall & waterline cleaning. It supports both App and touch-panel control for flexible scheduling and operation.

K Series runs on a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. It operates fully cordless underwater during cleaning. You only need to take it out of the pool and plug in the charger when recharging.

Verify these 5 key points before purchase:

  • Pool size: K Series is optimized for residential pools up to 20 × 39 ft (6 × 12 m), not for commercial pools. If your pool exceeds this size, multiple cleaning cycles may be required or consider an alternative model.
  • Water depth: Minimum 16 in (40 cm); ideal range 3.3–8.2 ft.
  • Surface material: Works for concrete, PVC, fiberglass, tile and smooth pebble finishes. Heavily textured surfaces reduce wall-climbing performance.
  • Slope: Transitions steeper than 15° are challenging for most robotic pool cleaners (common industry limitation).
  • Debris type: Fine silt & algae require the optional dual-layer filter. Heavy leaf loads are better suited for Turbo or long-run models.

Note: App pairing and OTA updates require 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi (5GHz Wi-Fi incompatible).

If your pool has unique structures, send photos to support for pre-purchase validation.

Please note these operating boundaries (not defects):

  • Optimized for residential pools up to 20 × 39 ft (6 × 12 m), min water depth 16 in (40 cm). Not for commercial pools.
  • Cannot clean water surface or floating debris. Steep slopes (>15°), low ledges, tight corners or curved seams may have partial coverage.
  • Ultra-smooth tiles reduce wall-climbing grip; new robots need 6–8 hours runtime for track break-in.
  • Standard mesh captures large debris; optional dual-layer filter for fine silt/algae, floor-only mode only.
  • Live App control works only on land; pre-set AI Timer runs underwater. Supports only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for pairing/OTA.
  • Operate within 39.2–95°F (4–35°C). Remove robot when adding pool chemicals.

The iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series takes over repetitive routine pool cleaning tasks. It automatically scrubs the pool floor, walls and waterline according to your preset schedule, saving you hours of manual vacuuming and brushing each week.
Regular automated cleaning maintains better water clarity and lowers the amount of pool chemicals needed.
Manual cleaning remains more effective for hard-to-reach spots including pool steps and narrow corners, as well as one-time deep cleanup for heavily soiled pools.
A common workflow: use K Series for regular maintenance, and use manual cleaning only for targeted touch-ups.

K Series and K Pro share the same 4L filter basket and cleaning modes, but they are designed for different pool sizes and usage scenarios.
K Series delivers up to 7 hours of floor-only runtime, great for most standard residential pools.
K Pro is built for extra-large pools. It features longer runtime, auto-docking, self-drain design and nano anti-corrosion coating to handle more demanding pool conditions.
Bottom line: Choose K Series if your pool is roughly within 20 × 39 ft (6 × 12 m), and you want reliable routine cleaning with strong value. Opt for K Pro if you have an extra-large pool or require enhanced corrosion protection for harsh pool environments.

Battery & Smart

Charging, runtime, and smart features.

When fully charged, K Series delivers up to 7 hours of runtime in floor-only mode, measured in our 3 × 8 m test pool. Activating wall/waterline cleaning or Turbo mode increases power use and shortens runtime. Real-world runtime varies based on pool size, water temperature, debris load, surface material and selected cleaning mode. A full recharge takes roughly 5 hours.

The iGarden Pool Cleaner K Series takes around 5 hours to fully charge.
Please use only the original charger. Its input specification is 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz for worldwide use.
Ensure the charging port is fully dry before charging.

The K Series uses a built-in rechargeable lithium battery rated at 7500mAh / 7.5Ah (192Wh).
It offers up to 7 hours runtime in floor-only mode, with roughly 5 hours charging time.
Actual runtime varies depending on cleaning mode, pool condition and filter setup.

The built-in lithium battery supports approximately 1,000 full charge cycles, which equals roughly 3 years under regular usage.

After reaching the rated cycles, the battery will continue working with gradual capacity reduction, which is normal for lithium batteries.

Simple maintenance tips to maximize battery life:

  • Do not store the cleaner with a completely drained battery
  • Recharge at least once every 3 months during off-season storage
  • Store in a cool and dry environment

The battery comes with built-in overcharge and over-discharge protection for safer charging.

No. The K Series battery is a sealed, built-in lithium battery and is not intended for user removal or replacement. If the K Series develops a suspected battery fault, contact iGarden support rather than opening the enclosure, because unauthorized opening can compromise the waterproof seal and may affect warranty eligibility.

While charging, the LED battery indicator on the robot flashes; when all three indicator lights turn solid, the robot is fully charged. We recommend fully charging before the first use and disconnecting the charger once charging completes. Before each run, a quick glance at the indicator tells you whether you have enough charge for the mode you've selected—remember that below 30% battery the robot automatically limits itself to floor cleaning.

No—always charge the robot indoors in a dry area away from direct sunlight and rain. The power supply is water-resistant but not waterproof, so exposure to heavy rain or submersion can damage it. Also make sure the charging port on the robot is completely dry before plugging in the charger; water residue in the port reduces charging current and extends charging time.

No harm done—the lithium battery does not need to be fully discharged before recharging, and partial charging does not shorten its service life. In fact, avoiding repeated full depletion actually helps prolong battery life. The pack also has built-in voltage-threshold protection against overcharging and deep discharge. For long-term storage, the key rule is different: recharge to full at least every three months so the battery never sits empty for extended periods.

When the battery falls below 30%, the K Series is documented to switch to Floor Only behavior to conserve power and may stop wall climbing. At approximately 15%, the robot is documented to stop cleaning and park near the pool edge. Recharge the K Series fully before starting another wall-and-waterline cycle.

The K Series uses the iGarden Robotics app, not the separate iGarden app. The app can be used for pairing, cleaning-mode settings, scheduling, and firmware updates where supported. Initial pairing requires Bluetooth permissions and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

The robot only connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi—it cannot use 5 GHz networks.

Checklist:

  • Make sure your phone is on the same 2.4 GHz network during pairing;
  • Enable Bluetooth and Location Services on your phone;
  • Pair near the router with strong signal;
  • If your phone can't join 2.4 GHz, create a hotspot from another phone (Android: set hotspot band to 2.4 GHz; iPhone 12 or later: enable 'Maximize Compatibility').

If your router broadcasts one combined name for both bands, log into the router and split them into separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz names.

You cannot connect or control K Series via the App when it is fully submerged. Water strongly attenuates Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth signals; this is a common industry technical limitation for most cordless robotic pool cleaners. You may set AI Timer schedules on land beforehand; the robot will auto-run cycles while staying in the pool. You can check status and adjust schedule settings on the App once the robot is above water.

OTA (Over-the-Air) firmware update lets you wirelessly upgrade the robot’s internal software through the iGarden Robotics App, with no wired connection needed. Updates may improve navigation, climbing performance and reliability.

Preconditions & steps:

  • Place the robot on land, fully powered on, connected to stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Do NOT upgrade underwater.
  • Open the iGarden App, enter device settings and check for new firmware releases.
  • Tap update, keep your phone within 3 ft (1 m) of the robot.
  • The full update takes around 10 minutes. The robot will power off and restart twice automatically. Do not move or turn it off mid-upgrade.
  • If the App shows failure or the screen turns black, wait 10 minutes — the update may still run in the background.

Bottom line: Always run OTA updates on land with strong Wi-Fi. If the robot cannot boot after the process, contact support and share your device Virtual ID.

The advertised runtime comes from lab tests conducted in a 3 × 8 m test pool with a fully charged battery. Real-world runtime will vary.

Common causes include:

  • Cold water below 59°F (15°C) accelerates battery drain;
  • Turbo and full-coverage modes draw significantly more power;
  • Clogged or overloaded filters increase pump load;
  • Pools larger than the rated size require extra navigation power;
  • AI Timer standby power consumption between scheduled cleaning cycles;
  • Natural battery capacity degradation after more than one year of use.

Measure runtime starting from a full charge. If runtime remains far below specs after troubleshooting, contact support.

Charging issues are usually caused by power, contact, temperature or battery protection conditions.

Troubleshooting steps in order:

  • Use only the original adapter and verify the wall outlet has power.
  • Ensure the charging port and metal contacts are completely dry. Clean salt, dirt or oxide buildup on contacts.
  • If the battery is in deep discharge protection, leave the charger connected for a minimum of 30 minutes to wake the battery.
  • Charge indoors within 43–95°F (6–35°C). Charging will stop automatically outside this temperature range.
  • Confirm the bottom power switch is toggled to Unlock before charging.

Bottom line: Always check power source, contact cleanliness and temperature first. If there is still no LED indicator after these checks, reach out to support for further diagnosis.
